產品描述：Human plateable hepatocytes, with intact metabolic pathways and cofactors, are well-accepted as the ‘gold standard’ for both academic and commercial use for in vitro study of hepatic function and hepatotoxicity. As the major cells in the liver, hepatocytes play an important role in drug metabolism, detoxification and protein synthesis. Plateable cryopreserved human hepatocytes has been characterized with comparable metabolic activities and transporter activities to freshly isolated hepatocytes including P450 isoform activities and Phase I and Phase II metabolizing enzyme activities.

Cells are characterized with the ability to form highly confluent monolayer for at least 5 days.
